Wizards of Baking, a Wizarding World-themed baking competition show hosted by the Weasley Twins themselves, James and Oliver Phelps, brings together extremely talented bakers, pushing them to create magical and delicious desserts. With so much creativity in the kitchen, why is plant-based baking still left out?
As the show gears up for its second season, we’re calling for the show to include at least one vegan baking challenge and cast some vegan competitors to showcase the incredible talent and innovation in compassionate baking. |
Vegan baking is more than just a trend, it’s a growing movement embraced by professional chefs and home bakers alike. With plant-based ingredients becoming more accessible and diverse, there’s no excuse for excluding an ethical, cruelty-free approach to desserts. By incorporating a vegan challenge and featuring vegan bakers, Wizards of Baking can celebrate inclusivity and empathy and can demonstrate that delicious confections don’t need animal products to be extraordinary.
Sign the petition today and let Warner Bros. and Food Network know that it’s time to give vegan bakers their well-deserved place in the competition (and to give vegan judges like Evanna Lynch a chance to actually sample the sugary creations)! |
Do you have baking skills that would rival the teams on Wizards of Baking?
