“Erumpent Rescue” Enlists Harry Potter Fans to Help Rhinos

Today, we are launching “Erumpent Rescue” with our partners Saving the Survivors and Action for Rhinos! We hope to get Harry Potter fans just like you aware of the problems of Rhino poaching in Africa and involve you in helping to save endangered rhinos.

The Fantastic Beasts Foundation launched campaign to help South African rhinos

First, fans will be able to send a Howler to South Africa’s Environment Minister, Edna Molewa. You can sign a Howler asking her to ban the sale of rhino horns and bring rhino poachers to justice, and at the same time be entered into drawings to win some fabulous Harry Potter prizes which were donated by MinaLima, graphic designers for all of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, and Devon Murray, who played Seamus Finnigan in the Potter films!

You can also purchase a campaign t-shirt to raise money for our partner organization, Saving the Survivors. Featuring the “Erumpent Rescue” logo, all of the proceeds will be going to Saving the Survivors to enable them to continue their life-saving work for poaching victims in South Africa. And, when you wear the shirt, you will increase visibility of the campaign and help others learn about the dire situation these rhinos face.
